1. Install PSU 19.12 on RDBMS
### JavaVM Component
[oracle]> env | grep ORA
ORACLE_SID=empty
ORACLE_BASE=/u01/app/oracle
ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/19.0/dbhome_1
[oracle]> 
$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch/opatch napply -oh $ORACLE_HOME -local /tmp/32900083/32876380
### OCW
$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch/opatch apply -oh $ORACLE_HOME -local /tmp/32900083/32895426/32916816
### RDBMS
$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch/opatch apply -oh $ORACLE_HOME -local /tmp/32900083/32895426/32904851

2. Install PSU 19.12 on OCW
[root]# env | grep ORA
ORACLE_SID=+ASM
ORACLE_BASE=/u01/app/oracle
ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/19.0/grid
[root]# 
### JavaVM Component
$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch/opatchauto apply /tmp/32900083/32876380 -oh $ORACLE_HOME 
### OCW and RDBMS
$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch/opatchauto apply /tmp/32900083/32895426 -oh $ORACLE_HOME

3. Stop has
[root]# crsctl stop has

4. Configure ASMAFD (ASM Filter Driver)
[root]# asmcmd afd_configure

5. Configure Disk Discovery for AFD
[root]# cat /etc/afd.conf
afd_diskstring='/dev/sd*'
afd_filtering=enable

[root]# cat /etc/oracleafd.conf
afd_diskstring='/dev/sd*'
afd_filtering=enable

6. Verify the status
[root]# asmcmd afd_state

7. Label the Disks using AFD to be used by ASM
[root]# asmcmd afd_label DATA01 /dev/sdc1

8. List ASM disks
[root]# asmcmd afd_lsdsk

9. Start has
[root]# crsctl start has

10. Change the value of the parameter diskstring for the ASM instance
[oracle]$ 
asmcmd dsset 'ORCL:*','AFD:*'
asmcmd dsget


11. Check new candidate 
sqlplus> SELECT NVL(A.NAME, '[CANDIDATE]') DISK_GROUP_NAME, b.state, B.NAME DISK_FILE_NAME, path
FROM V$ASM_DISKGROUP A  RIGHT OUTER JOIN V$ASM_DISK B USING (GROUP_NUMBER) ORDER BY A.NAME;
